Arrangements are in place for the effective assurance of our delivery quality and form the basis of our day-to-day work. The documentation on the system for managing quality, environmental aspects, energy and on-the-job safety is readily accessible in a comprehensive manual to all employees and to other persons who may be interested.
Besides this system’s certifications to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 50001:2011, our company has a high number of additional supplier approvals issued by national and foreign inspection bodies and customers. These include, in particular, approval as a welding manufacturer for rail vehicle components conforming to DIN EN 15085-2, and certification to regulations concerning nuclear facilities.
Our own highly qualified personnel and extensive technical equipment enable us to carry out any necessary destructive and non-destructive testing in-house. Our company has excellent means at its disposal, especially in the field of volume testing in the form a 3 MeV linear accelerator and radiation sources Ir 192 and Co 60, for testing components made from ferritic and austenitic materials.
The usual facilities and systems for measuring unfinished castings during inspections are complemented by an optical measuring device permitting direct comparison with CAB data. Dimensions machined in the machining shop are checked by means of a CNC coordinate measuring machine.
