Machining
The share of castings required pre-machined or finish-machined by customers is increasing constantly. We have complied with this development in the form of ongoing expansion and modernisation of our machining shop.
Apart from conventional machinery for pre-machining castings, a range of CNC-controlled machinery is also installed in our Machining Department, permitting most of the finishing operations.
Our CNC-controlled machinery involves:

Machining centres for milling, drilling and turning.
Parts such as valve bodies, turbine components and gearboxes, for example, can be machined on these machines—in sites of up to 1,600 x 1,000 x 1,000 mm.
Valve bodies, wheels and cogs, for example, are finished on horizontal centre lathes with the following finishing parameters: Ř 1,000 mm, lengths of 3,000 mm.
Vertical turret lathes for formats of up to Ř 2,000 mm and heights of 1,600 mm permit the finishing of parts with maximum piece weights of 8 tonnes.
