Our work is based on a comprehensive Quality Assurance system. Our management system is documented in an extensive manual on which our certification to EN ISO 9001 (2000) and EN ISO 14001 (2004) is based. Furthermore, our company also avails of a variety of supplier approvals for domestic and foreign official classification agencies.
Thanks to the extensive equipment and machinery in our company, all standard methods of surface flaw detection, volume tests and destructive material testing can be performed in-house. Apart from magnetic powder and dye penetrant inspections, extensive volume testing via ultrasonic and radiation tests can also be performed by qualified personnel upon request. One particular highlight is volume testing by means of radioactive isotopes (Ir192; Co60) and a 3MeV linear accelerator. This equipment enables us to test wall thicknesses of up to 300 mm to all accepted standards. In the area of destructive material testing, all conventional tests as regards tensile test and impact testing are possible. Our range of services is complemented by metallographic tests—from simple structural tests to the evaluation of structures in the case of duplex steels and special alloys.
Our possibilities in the area of quality assurance are rounded off by parallel tracing dimension machines for measuring rough castings, a measuring device for raw castings based upon CAD data as well as a CNC coordinate measuring machine for examining finish-machining.
